    After devouring this book in 3 days I was happy to find comfort in the fact that I’m not the only crazy dog lady that misses her dogs terribly anytime I leave them and would rather stay home in their company than any social event.     I have a golden retriever "Rusty" and also have depression. I am 64 years old and Rusty is 3. I certainly hope I go before Rusty. I have a great wife and a daughter that has nothing to do with me. Rusty gets me through most days, at least the bad ones that are numerous. Thank you so much for this great book.

    I picked this book u this morning and read it entirely in a day. Couldn't stop. From beginning to end it was very moving and both inspirational and heartbreaking. Wiped tears away through the whole thing. Highly recommend.
